Stone Lithographic painting
After seeing a Public Broadcast System TV show on stone lithograph printing, I would like to try it. There are several problems. One: stones are expensive. Two: I have no idea how to make a print using this technique. So, what do I do? I've been browsing on the Internet looking for instruction DVDs and supplies. I found some DVDs on the process, but it is about $32. That is an expensive DVD. Then again, it is cheaper than taking a college class or hiring an art tutor to show me the process. Hmmm, something to think about.

Recently I have been trying to protect the content on my websites. I realized there is no way to do this unless I buy an expensive program or shut them down. I don't want someone to come in and copy and paste my work onto their site, making my work their own. So, I shut one of the sites down to protect my work.
The site was for local art group...if you can call it that. Many of the members have outlived their worth and are generally a bunch of unimagnative old farts who call themselves artists. Far from it. There are only two artists among them who are actually good at creating art. The rest, well, they like flowers and landscape painting and aren't very good at it.
The president of said group has repeatedly offended me in many ways. Too many to count here. He does not understand technology and so has been very harsh in his assessments of the website I created for the group. So, since he and the board have no clue what to do with the website, I shut it down until further notice.
He is one person who has outlived his worth as anything resembling a human being. I do not wish him well.
